My Story

I support women by creating space to reconnect to themselves in nature and find balance through deep nature connection in community. By connecting with the earth, yourself, and other women, you will feel a sense of clarity, heart opening and renewal. I welcome you to give yourself time to reclaim your true nature, to share your story in a confidential space with other women who can relate, and to be nourished by mindfulness practices in nature.

At the core of my work has been a deep nature connection and passion for supporting other people's physical, emotional, and spiritual needs. While working as a field biologist for over a decade, I spent my days in remote areas of the Mojave Desert tracking and observing the threatened desert tortoise. With my small backpack of supplies, fully immersed in the elements, I developed a love for the harshness and beauty of the desert. I was keenly aware of my place in the web of life and my impact on the earth and the next generations. Later, during my 12 years working as a naturalist educator, I created and implemented curriculum to teach students to grow food, practice sensory awareness as a mindfulness tool, and build healthy relationships with each other and the land.

Raising two bright-eyed daughters over the past decade has been an incredibly rewarding and transformative journey. As a biologist, mentor and mother, the importance of building healthy relationships to self, the earth, and community have been fundamental. After being trained as a Mindful Outdoor Guide through the Kripalu Institute, it was clear that I wanted to support people's connection to nature, and offer mindfulness based practices, yet I wanted to offer a deeper therapeutic experience as well. As an ecopsychology and wilderness quest guide, I feel empowered and committed to offer women, especially mothers, access to therapeutic nature connection and mindfulness practices. I believe that you deserve a nurturing environment to safely express your emotions, to reflect, to care for your soul and to revitalize your spirit.

I feel most alive...

when I am offering gratitude to flowing water. sitting in the forest with an owl for hours. singing with other heart centered women. laughing and crying. surfing. delighting in pink nectarine buds in my front yard in the early spring. harvesting massive sunflowers and dahlias with my daughters. sleeping under the stars.  greeting whales on their migration. practicing yoga.

What makes you feel alive?

"Knowing that you love the earth changes you, activates you to defend and protect and celebrate. But when you feel that the earth loves you in return, that feeling transforms the relationship from a one-way street into a sacred bond.”

-Robin Wall Kimmerer
